University Committees
Important update for AY 2026-2027
The Office of the President has recently conducted a review of university standing committees. Some committees have been disbanded, while others are now under the purview of different campus offices (e.g., Academic Affairs Research Office, Student Affairs, etc.).

About This Webpage
Many committees previously listed on this page were not traditionally considered to be "university standing committees," even though they had broad university interest. However, these committees may have asked for faculty representation to be made by the Academic Senate Executive Committee. You may find appointments and vacancies for those committees here.
Standalone webpages for these committees have been deactivated, and relevant contact information can be found on this webpage should you wish to know more about the committee.
If you have any questions about faculty appointments, please email academic-senate@calpoly.edu. For all other questions, please contact the sponsoring office or department for the committee.
